Nabeshima 鍋島 from Fukuchiyo Shuzo. Founded over 100 years ago in Saga Prefecture, the brewery faced struggles to survive in an era when sake drinking was in decline and many breweries were closing. Thanks to the efforts, passion and know-how of Saga brewers, as well as the natural soil and excellent underground water conditions, Nabeshima sakes have since won numerous awards including the most prestigious International Wine Challenge (IWC) where Nabeshima Daiginjo was awarded the Champion Sake in the sake category in 2011. Its melon-like fruitiness can get even newcomers to the world of sake addicted and has made it very popular.
