Origin: Sankan Shuzo, Okayama
Sankan Shuzo has been around since the 3rd year of Edo Period 1806. A boutique brewery just north of the Great Seto Bridge connecting mainland Japan to the island of Shikoku, this sake is full of charm and character. They focus on using local rice, which is the famous Omachi rice, which is known as the original sake rice. Rich, flavourful, with loads of herbal notes and umami.
