In this exploratory masterclass, we take a laser focus on the expressions of sake rice within the same style - Junmai Ginjo. Delve into the basics of the rice to understand different variables such as the choice of sake designation, the variety of sake-brewing rice, and polishing ratio, which can be applied to produce wildly different flavours in the product. You will also get to taste and compare 3 bottles of Junmai Ginjo which are 55% polish ratio, two released by the same brewery and another from a different brewery.

Ms. Kanako Takahashi is a Japanese native who is trained in the art of Sake. Completing a hat trick of WSET, SSA & SSI Sake credentials, she has also completed her WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. Her prowess also extends beyond Sake knowledge and lies in hospitality work as well as event management from the likes of SSA, CAPE, Vinopolis & THG Sports.
