Saito Shuzo is located in Kyoto Prefecture. They use soft water from Fushimi, Gokousui, and high quality rice for sake brewing, resulting in a soft and rounded texture. They were awarded the golden prize for 14 consecutive years in the National Sake Competition. The brewery contributes a lot in restoring the plantation of Iwai, a local rice variety originated from Kyoto. They use this rice for their sake which represents the style of Kyoto.
This Junmai Daiginjo is one of the most popular sake in the brewing company Saito Shuzo. This sake is made of specially selected brewing rice which has been polished to 40% of its size. This ultra premium sake is incredibly smooth and soft with a fruity rich fragrance.
