Kinmonnishiki is a rare sake rice, and is only grown in Nagano Prefecture. It is also known as phantom rice because of its scarcity.

This sake is made from Kinmonnishiki polished down to 55%, high quality spring water of the Minami Alps and local Nagano yeast. Kinmonishiki has a distinct aroma, savoury flavour and a sort of mellowness that is quite different from Miyaminishiki. Enjoy notes of lychee, green apple and peach compote, good acidity and a delicate mouthfeel.
