Sempuku was named after two inspirational women who provided faithful support to the founder, Seibe Miyake: “Fuku” from his wife’s name and ‚”Chito” from his mother’s name. Once having operated an overseas factory in addition to a domestic one, they have recorded the largest volume of production in Japan. Even now, they deliver a well-traveled Japanese sake beyond the borders of Japan.
Pairs well with French, Italian and of course Japanese food. Light, slightly dry sake with a gentle scent, fruity and rich umami, smooth acidity, and a crisp aftertaste to enhance the deliciousness of seasonal dishes. Since it uses "Hiroshima Momiji Yeast", it has a fruity taste and a light taste. Recommend to enjoy chilled or around room temperature.
