This dessert sake was cold aged for 5 years in the Kijoshu sake style. Instead of water, Junmai Ginjo from their 2009 vintage was used as a base to brew this dessert sake Japan's interpretation of Premier Cru Sauternes. Robust umami, full bodied with aroma of ripe cantaloupes, apricots & peaches, without being cloying sweet. Try pairing it with cheese, fruit or a decadent & rich chocolate cake. Best served chilled below 5 degrees celsius in a port glass.
